School Art in Heaven project
We have had two school visits in the church, showing them our special works of art including Carolyn’s murals, our sculptures and our various William Morris stained-glass windows. A third is coming next Wednesday 27th and a fourth Friday 29th. They will take part in the “Art in Heaven” competition to paint scenes in heaven which finishes just after Easter. Their paintings will be on display here for several days during May and we can vote for the best one.
These alternate every Thursday evening between men (from 4/4) and women (from 28/3) starting at 7:30pm and there is also a daytime class at 10:30 every Thursday morning. See Jonathan Sturt and Jacki Thomas for more details
The next film is “Bohemian Rhapsody” on Friday 29th March at 7:30pm here including a Queen singalong, all highly recommended (by the vicar!) A tasty light supper is served, suggested minimum donation is £5 for the evening.
